My review.

The third sister by Keiron Cosgrave and Christine Hancock. Psychological Suspense Mysteries Book 4. Is blood always thicker than water? I really enjoyed this book. Twisty. Certainly got me thinking. I liked Jenny but wasn't sure how I felt about Lucy. I didn't trust her. I hope there is more to come. I will be looking at the first books. 5*.

Blurb.

Is blood always thicker than water? Even the strongest human psyche can only take so much. Jenny Payne is no exception. Jenny hates her life. Shaped by childhood trauma, and duty bound to care for her depressed alcoholic mother and younger sister Lucy, Jenny is a shadow of the woman she aspires to be. Following a hit-and-run on the night of The Glorious Twelfth, just hours after an incident at the local pub, and about to share a secret with Jenny, Lucy mysteriously disappears. Injured and traumatised, Jenny withdraws into herself and retreats to the family home rented from wealthy landowner Hugo Armstrong-Bond. With Hugo and his son Miles closing ranks about the nature of their relationship with Lucy, and Hugo’s wife Adriana taking a sudden unhealthy interest in Jenny’s wellbeing, Jenny becomes suspicious and convinced they know much more about Lucy’s disappearance than they are letting on… Enlisting help from elder sister Kim, Jenny endeavours to uncover the truth… Suffering chronic migraines and debilitating insomnia, Jenny’s tortured mind demands answers... Where is Lucy? Alive? Dead? What secret was she about to share?
