THE MISSING WOMAN blog tour and Book review.

THE MISSING WOMAN by JODIE LAWRANCE.

Detective Helen Carter Book 4.

Ella White is missing. And there’s something very wrong about the flat she left behind. The faint bloodstains. The reek of bleach in every room . . .

I really enjoyed this book. Twisty and tense. It wasn't who I thought it was. I do like Helen. 5*.

Blurb.

Ella White is missing. And there’s something very wrong about the flat she left behind. The faint bloodstains. The reek of bleach in every room . . .

Whoever called the police, from a payphone in the night, made sure to clean up first. But they did leave one clue for Detective Helen and her team to go on.

A train ticket. Stuffed inside a book about Mark Landis, the ruthless Button Killer.

Detective Helen would know that name anywhere. Twenty years ago, her own father worked himself to the bone to put this notorious killer away.

That should have been the end of the case.

Now it looks like the Button Killer is back. There’s a spate of killings in the city, each victim found with his trademark signature — the button stuffed down the throat . . .

Is Helen dealing with a clever copycat?

Or even worse, could her father have put the wrong man behind bars?

All eyes are on Helen. This case will cost her dearly. She must face her own family’s dark past to find the answers — and the truth could shatter her life forever . . .
